Fried Corn
Fried Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large ears fresh corn, 4 slices bacon, 1 1/4 c. water, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Scrape corn; fry bacon.
Drain all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Stir corn into drippings.
Add 1 1/4 cups water, sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
In small bowl stir together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water.
Stir into corn, stirring constantly.
Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
