French Rolls
French Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, beaten, 3 c. milk, 1 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 1/2 lb. butter, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream butter, sugar and salt.
Add beaten eggs.
Liquefy yeast in 1 teaspoon sugar.
Add to mixture.
Add milk and enough flour to make stiff, smooth dough.
Let rise 5 hours.
Take off large chunk off dough; roll thin on floured surface.
Cut into wedges, spread with soft butter.
Roll from broad end to narrow end.
Place rolls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Let rise 3 to 4 hours.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Yields approximately 60 rolls.
