French Meat Pies
French Meat Pies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. ground beef, 2 1/2 lb. ground pork, 2 to 3 medium size onions, chopped, salt and pepper to taste and poultry seasoning to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Place beef, pork, onion, salt and pepper in a deep pan.
Add water to cover meat.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and lower heat to simmer.
Continue cooking for about 6 hours, making sure that there is always just enough water to cover the meat.
After 6 hours, season to taste.
Crush crackers and add to the meat, a little at a time, until thickened.
Prepare pie crusts (enough for 4 pie tins). Fill with meat mixture and add top crust.
Bake at 325Β° until top crust is golden brown.
Makes 4 large pies.
Recipe may be cut in half.
