French Meat Pie
French Meat Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 large onion, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. ground pork and 1 c. mashed potato, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Saute onions until tender.
Remove and set aside.
Brown beef and pork together. Drain.
Combine onion, meat, potato and seasonings.
Line pie plate with pastry.
Fill with meat mixture.
Top with crust.
Seal and flute edges.
Make slits on top crust.
Brush with egg, if desired.
Bake at 375Β° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Bon appetit.
