French Crepe
French Crepe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder, 2 eggs, well beaten and 1 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
Combine eggs, milk and water.
Beat until smooth.
(I like to make batter the night before.)
In cast-iron skillet, add shortening (Crisco). When very hot, add 3 to 4 tablespoons of batter and fry until golden brown.
Serve with your favorite topping.
Brown sugar and sour cream is mine.
Roll like a jelly roll.
Enjoy.
