French Country Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1-inch cubes, 1/4 c. flour, 1 tbsp. oil, 2 (14 1/2 oz. each) cans del monte original style stewed tomatoes and 1 (13 3/4 fluid oz.) can beef broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine meat and flour in plastic bag; toss to coat evenly. In 6-quart pot, brown meat in oil.
Salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
Add remaining ingredients, except mustard.
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 1 hour or until beef is tender.
Blend in mustard.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with warm crusty French bread.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
