French Cobbler
French Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. margarine, 1 c. flour, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. baking powder and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 425°.
Melt margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish in preheated oven.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, baking powder and milk together.
Pour over the melted margarine in the baking pan.
Place the sliced, fresh fruit on top of the batter.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup granulated sugar and optional cinnamon over the fruit.
Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
This is excellent served with vanilla ice cream.
