French Cinnamon Puffs
French Cinnamon Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 2/3 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 3 c. sifted flour and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream together first 3 ingredients.
Add the rest of the ingredients (except melted butter, cinnamon and sugar mixture) and mix well.
Put heaping teaspoonful in each well-greased miniature muffin pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
They do not brown.
When baked, turn out muffins and dip in melted butter and cinnamon/sugar mixture.
I start with 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup sugar, but I always need more.
Serve warm or cold.
Store in Tupperware-type container.
