Fabulous Fried Onion Rings
Fabulous Fried Onion Rings is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. beer (not light) and 3 large yellow onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine flour and beer thoroughly with whisk in large bowl. Cover bowl and let set at room temperature for at least 3 hours. Cut onions into slices and separate into rings.
Stir into batter, then fry in oil at 375°.
(An electric skillet works best.)
Turn once or twice until golden, then transfer them to a preheated 200° oven, layering on brown paper bags or paper towels on cookie sheet.
These stay crispy and crunchy for hours so you can make ahead and clean up the mess.
They freeze and reheat well, too, if you have any left!
