English Pea Casserole
English Pea Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick margarine or butter, 3 tbsp. flour, 1/2 pt. whipping cream, 1 (10 oz.) can small english peas and 1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In saucepan, melt margarine or butter on low heat.
Add flour; stir until smooth.
Pour in whipping cream, stirring continuously until it thickens; set aside.
In 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, lightly stir peas, pimento and egg while adding cream mixture. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Remove; top with cheese; return back to oven for 10 minutes.
