Eggnog is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. rum, 2 c. bourbon and 2 c. heavy or whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat the egg yolks well in a medium size bowl; set aside.
Beat the egg whites in a large bowl until stiff, then add the sugar. Fold the egg yolks into the egg white and sugar mixture until thoroughly combined.
Stir in the rum, bourbon, cream and milk; beat well.
Pour into a punch bowl; sprinkle the nutmeg on top. Yields 12 servings.
