Dutch Sugar Cookies
Dutch Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, creamed, 1 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 1/4 c. water and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Beat sugar and butter together until creamed.
Add flour, two tablespoons at a time.
When blended, add water in which baking soda and vanilla have been dissolved.
Form dough into a roll and wrap with waxed paper.
Place in the refrigerator overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
When dough is solid, cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet an inch apart and bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
