Dreamy Vanilla Ice Cream
Dreamy Vanilla Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour, pinch of salt and 1 1/2 qt. (6 c.) milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine eggs, flour, sugar and salt in blender container and mix well.
Heat milk to lukewarm in a large saucepan. Gradually add cup warm milk to egg mixture.
Blend constantly. Stir mixture (with the 1 cup milk in it) to the remaining milk on the stove, then cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Stir constantly until thickened.
(It won't get very thick; don't boil.) Remove from heat.
Stir in condensed milk, half and vanilla.
Into freezer and freeze.
Makes 1 gallon.
