Double Chocolate Cookie Bars
Double Chocolate Cookie Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. finely crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (24 cookies), 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted, 2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 (14 oz.) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream together shortening, brown sugar and granulated (white) sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and unsweetened cocoa.
Stir in.
Mix in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Drop from small spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in a 375Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
