Double Chocolate Banana Loaf
Double Chocolate Banana Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 c. each: granulated sugar and packed brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. each: baking powder, baking soda and salt and 3 extra-ripe bananas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugars, baking powder, soda and salt.
Purée bananas in blender to measure 1 1/2 cups. Stir banana purée, margarine, eggs and vanilla into dry mixture. Mix until blended.
Stir in chocolate and almonds.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350° oven 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan to rack.
Cool before slicing.
