Disappearing Chocolate Cake
Disappearing Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Generously grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy; blend in eggs. Combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt in bowl.
Add alternately with milk to batter.
Blend well.
Pour into pans; bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pans.
Frost with Marshmallow Icing when cool.
