Dilly Bread
Dilly Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. creamed cottage cheese, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soften yeast in warm water.
Heat cottage cheese until warm. Add sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda and yeast.
Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. (For first addition of flour, use mixer on low speed.)
Cover; let rise in warm place until light and double in size, 50 to 60 minutes.
Stir dough down; put in two small loaf pans (7 3/4 x 3 x 3) that have been greased well or sprayed with Pam.
