Dilled Potato Salad with Wurst
Dilled Potato Salad With Wurst is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large potatoes, 4 slices bacon, cut up, 1/2 c. chopped dill pickles, 3/4 c. dill pickle liquid and 1/2 tsp. caraway seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cut boiled potatoes into thick slices.
In skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon.
Add celery, onion and pickles.
Cook, stirring, until tender (3 to 5 minutes).
Stir in potatoes, knockwurst, pickle liquid, sugar, caraway seed, mustard and salt. Cover and cook over low heat, turning potatoes occasionally, until tender (10 minutes).
Knockwurst may be cooked separately.
Serves 4.
