Grease and flour or line with paper baking cups 12 muffin cups. Sift flour with baking powder, salt, soda and nutmeg into mixing bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Mix with dry ingredients only until dry particles are moistened.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 375Β° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Yields 12 muffins.
