Devine Divinity
Devine Divinity is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. white corn syrup, 2/3 c. water, 2 egg whites and 1 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Boil sugar, syrup, water and salt together until syrup forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
If using thermometer, cook to 270Β°.
Place the unbeaten egg whites in a large mixing bowl and beat until eggs are stiff, but not dry.
Slowly pour the hot syrup over the egg whites (do not pour too fast or the egg whites will curdle).
After the syrup is added, continue to beat until the mixture becomes stiff.
Add vanilla and nuts and continue to beat until mixture will hold its shape.
Drop by teaspoons on a buttered surface.
Top each piece with a pecan half.
