Depression Era Meat Loaf
Depression Era Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground meat, 1/2 c. ketchup, 1 egg, 1 small onion or 1 tbsp. dried minced onion and 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix ground meat, 1/2 cup ketchup, egg, onion or minced onion, Worcestershire sauce and salt well by hand and add corn flakes. Mix again and form loaf; put in roaster pan.
Cover with 1/3 cup ketchup and bacon strips.
Add water to pan.
(I put in potatoes and carrots.)
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Serves 4.
