Beat eggs. Add 1/4 cup of cold milk (heat rest of milk). Add to beaten eggs, sugar, flavoring, nutmeg, vanilla
And salt. Mix slowly. Add hot milk. Pour into unbaked crust. Bake 10 minutes in 450° oven, then moderate oven at 325° about 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean, mixture doesn't stick to knife. "Serve hot or cold."
