Crunchy Oven-Fried Chicken
Crunchy Oven-Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. corn flake cereal crumbs, 1 tsp. onion salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler/fryer chicken, cut up and 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 350Β°.
Mix cereal crumbs, onion salt and pepper. Dip chicken in butter; roll in cereal crumb mixture.
Place skin sides up in an ungreased baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Pour remaining butter over chicken.
Bake, uncovered, until thickest pieces are done, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
