Crisp Cucumber Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. cucumbers, cut in slices or sticks, 2 c. pickling lime, 2 gallons water, 8 c. white distilled vinegar and 8 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Wash and cut cucumbers; soak overnight in lime and water.
Next morning wash them in cold water and soak 3 more hours.
Combine vinegar, sugar and spices, dissolving well.
Pour over cucumbers and soak 5-6 hours or overnight.
Then boil in liquid until transparent.
Fill jars, seal and process.
