Creamy Pineapple-Lime Salad
Creamy Pineapple-Lime Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin, 1 c. boiling water, 1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. small curd cottage cheese and 1 c. whipped cream or dream whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Drain pineapple well, reserve syrup.
Add 1/2 cup syrup to gelatin.
Chill until very thick (spoon drawn through gelatin leaves a definite impression, takes about 1 1/2 hours).
Fold in pineapple, cheese, cream, cherries and peaches.
Chill.
