Creamy Casserole
Creamy Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, 3/4 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper and 1 - 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a two quart round casserole.
Fry bacon in a ten inch skillet until crisp; remove from skillet and crumble.
Cook and stir onion, celery, green pepper, and mushrooms in bacon fat until tender.
Drain if necessary.
Stir in sour cream, cut up cooked meat, salt, pepper, and bacon.
Heat until bubbly and spread in casserole dish.
Mix Casserole Topping.
Spread over mixture.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown.
