Peel and slice cucumbers very thin.
Sprinkle salt on top.
Invert plate on top of cucumbers.
Put something real heavy on plate for about 2 hours.
This will get the water and bitterness out.
Rinse cucumbers well and drain.
Peel and slice onion thinly.
Add whipping cream and half of the half and half.
Salt and pepper to taste.
