Cream Pie
Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. cornstarch, 2/3 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 2 or 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt; gradually add milk with egg yolks mixed in, to the dry mixture.
Cook over medium heat until thick, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cool; add butter and vanilla.
Into cooled baked shell and spread with meringue or Cool Whip.
If using meringue, bake in a 325Β° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
