Cream of Spinach Soup
Cream Of Spinach Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted, 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour and 1 qt. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Drain spinach thoroughly; set aside.
Saute onion in butter in a large saucepan until tender and add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk and stir in spinach, salt and pepper.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Makes about 1 quart.
