Cranberry Nut Bread
Cranberry Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. sugar, sifted and 2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and lightly flour 4 x 8 loaf pan. Sift baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and flour.
Add cranberries and nuts; mix lightly.
Combine beaten egg, orange juice, melted butter and orange rind.
Combine with flour mixture. Stir just to moisten and fill pan.
Bake 1 hour or until loaf "cake tests" done.
Invert on rack.
Cool 1 hour.
