Crab Fettucine
Crab Fettucine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. margarine, 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1 c. milk, 1/2 lb. imitation crab and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook noodles.
In a saucepan melt butter; add flour.
Stir until slightly thickened and white.
Add milk until thick.
Add cream cheese, 1/2 of garlic and crab to sauce.
Simmer 25 minutes. While sauce simmers, place remaining margarine in a pan.
Melt and add remaining garlic; cook until brown.
In a shallow baking dish, pour butter.
Pour butter-garlic mixture over sliced French bread.
Bake until brown.
Layer fettucine sauce over noodles. Serve with French bread.
