Crab Au Gratin
Crab Au Gratin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick butter/margarine, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1/2 bell pepper, chopped, 2 stalks celery, chopped and 1 medium garlic clove, pressed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt butter in medium skillet.
Saute vegetables and garlic until tender.
To make cream and sauce; add flour and milk; cook to proper consistency.
Add whipping cream.
Add chopped, sauteed vegetables to cream sauce with dash of paprika.
Add Cheez Whiz and pimentos.
Stir in lump crabmeat.
Taste for proper seasoning. Pour in a round casserole.
Bake at 350Β° until bubbly.
Serve hot.
