Country-Style Stuffed Peppers
Country-Style Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 green, red or yellow peppers, 8 oz. pork sausage, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 1/2 c. cooked rice and 2 c. shredded mild cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Remove tops, seeds and membranes from peppers.
Crumble sausage into skillet.
Cook with onion.
Drain off fat.
Add tomato and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Fill peppers with mixture; top with remaining cheese.
Arrange in 9-inch square baking pan. Add 1/4 cup water.
Bake for 30 minutes.
