Country Style Steak is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, cut to size you want (1-inch thick), flour, salt and pepper, 2 to 4 tbsp. crisco or lard and 1 c. sliced onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Salt and pepper each piece of steak.
Dredge in flour; beat with mallet or saucer edge.
Saute onions in the fat, them remove onions and reserve.
Brown steaks in fat well on each side over medium heat, being careful not to overcook it.
Serve in covered dish with onions and gravy.
