Boil corn 8 minutes in unsalted water.

Drain.

Cool in cold water.

Cut kernels from ears without scraping.

Measure 1 1/2 quarts kernels.

Use stainless or enamel saucepan.

Combine celery, peppers, onion, salt, vinegar, sugar and celery seed.

Bring to boil.

Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

Stir mustard and turmeric with water to make a paste.

Add to pan.

Stir until it comes to boil and thickens slightly.

Now add corn.

Bring to boil for 5 minutes.

Place in sterile jars.

Process 10 minutes in boiling water.

Seal.

Makes approximately 8 pints.
