Corn Bread
Corn Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. sifted flour, 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In another bowl, combine the egg, milk and oil.
Add to flour mixture.
Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
Use a toothpick to test for doneness. Remove pan to a rack.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Invert onto a breadboard or platter.
Cut into 3-inch squares.
Serves 6.
