Cool-Rise Sweet Dough
Cool-Rise Sweet Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 c. flour, 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. butter or oleo, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Measure flour; set aside.
Combine 2 cups flour, undissolved dry yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
Stir to blend well. Add softened oleo.
Add hot water all at once.
Beat to blend well.
Add eggs and 1 cup more flour.
Beat well, until thick and elastic.
Stir in remaining flour gradually, with a wooden spoon. Use just enough flour to make a soft dough that leaves sides of bowl.
