👨‍🍳 Instructions

Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; preheat oven to 350°.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

Beat butter or margarine together with brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, beating well after each egg.

Stir in vanilla.

Beat in reserved flour mixture and when well combined, fold in chocolate bits and nuts.

Spread batter in prepared dish, smoothing the top. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until top looks dry.

Let cool completely and cut into squares.

Makes about 4 dozen squares.
