Cold Oven Pound Cake
Cold Oven Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add flour and milk alternately, adding baking powder with last cup of flour.
Beat well after each addition.
Beat in flavoring.
Pour batter in greased and floured tube pan and place in cold oven.
Turn oven on to 350Β° and bake cake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Check cake after 50 minutes for doneness.
