Coconut Macaroons
Coconut Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 large egg whites, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 (7 oz.) bag flaked coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 300Β°.
Grease and flour large cookie sheet. In a small bowl, mix on high speed egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
Add sugar.
Beat on high speed, adding 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition, until sugar is dissolved.
Beat in vanilla.
(Whites should stand in glossy peaks.)
With rubber spatula, fold in coconut and flour.
Drop coconut by level tablespoons 1 inch apart.
Bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown.
Store tightly in container.
