Coconut Crunch Delight
Coconut Crunch Delight is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. flour, 1 1/4 c. coconut, 1/4 c. sugar and 1 c. almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt butter and chocolate in a medium size saucepan over moderate heat.
Remove from heat.
Beat in sugar gradually with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
Stir in flour until thoroughly combined.
Stir in 1 cup of the walnuts.
Spread into a greased 13 x 9 pan.
Combine remaining 1/2 cup walnuts with chocolate chips; sprinkle over top of cookie mixture, pressing down lightly.
Bake in a moderate oven at 350Β° for 35 minutes or until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertips.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
