Clam Fritters
Clam Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (11 oz.) container minced fresh clams, drained, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 2 eggs, beaten and 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine first 9 ingredients in a mixing bowl; mix well. Combine flour and baking powder; add to clam mixture and stir until moistened.
Heat 3/4-inch oil in a skillet to 350Β°.
Drop clam mixture into hot oil by level tablespoonfuls.
Fry until light golden brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately.
