City Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. veal steak, 1 lb. pork steak (pork butts), 1 to 2 eggs, cracker crumbs and milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Remove fat from meat.
Cut into 1-inch squares and season with salt and pepper.
Alternate pieces of veal and pork on a skewer, five pieces to a stick.
Dip into mixture of beaten egg and milk; then roll into cracker crumbs.
Brown in hot fat.
Place in a baking dish.
Add a little water; cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 3/4 hour.
