Cinnamon Biscuits
Cinnamon Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix sugar and the cinnamon and set aside.
Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles corn meal.
Add milk and stir until dough stiffens; turn out on floured board and knead until dough is well mixed.
Roll out into an oblong approximately 8 x 16-inches.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll into long roll and cut into 16 (1-inch) sections.
Place into small muffin tins and bake at 450Β° for approximately 15 minutes.
