Cincinnati Chili(Student Favorite)
Cincinnati Chili(Student Favorite) is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. very lean ground beef, 3 c. water, 15 oz. can tomato sauce, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 2 bay leaves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large pot, stir together beef and water so that beef separates to very fine texture.
Mix in all remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
During the last hour, pan may be covered upon reaching desired consistency.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
Serve in bowls with spaghetti, red beans, chopped onions and grated cheese or any combination.
Chili can also be used to make delicious Coney Island hot dogs.
