Chop Suey
Chop Suey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef, cut in small pieces, 1/2 lb. pork, cut in small pieces, 2 c. diced celery, 1 can bean sprouts, drained and 2 small onions, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In Dutch oven or large covered skillet, saute beef and pork until well browned.
Add onions, celery and bean sprouts; water can be added for plenty of moisture.
Place in slow oven (300° to 325°) for about an hour.
Add soy sauce.
If necessary, thicken with cornstarch.
Pour over rice and top with Chinese noodles.
