Chocolate Truffle Loaf
Chocolate Truffle Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. heavy cream, 1 1/2 c. heavy cream and 1/4 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Line a loaf pan with plastic.
Mix 1/2 cup cream with egg yolks.
In a 3-quart pan stir the chocolate, corn syrup and butter over a medium heat until melted.
Add egg mixture and stir constantly for 3 minutes.
Cool to room temperature and beat the remaining cream, sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Fold into chocolate, pour into pan and freeze.
Unmold and slice thin. Serve with raspberry sauce.
