Chocolate Satin Frosting
Chocolate Satin Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted 10x sugar, 3 tbsp. hot water, 3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted, 1 slightly beaten egg and 6 tbsp. soft butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Blend sugar and hot water into chocolate.
With spoon, beat half of egg into chocolate mixture.
Beat in remaining 1/2 egg. Beat in butter, one tablespoon at a time.
Blend in vanilla or rum extract.
Frosting will be thin.
Place bowl in ice water and beat until spreading consistency.
