Chocolate Potato Cake
Chocolate Potato Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 4 egg yolks, 1 c. hot, diced potatoes and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar until light.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Add potatoes and mix.
Mix milk with flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Beat until smooth.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until dry but not stiff.
Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until stiff. Fold into mixture.
Pour into two greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
Cool and top with your favorite frosting.
