Chocolate Pie

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa
Add a little milk and stir
Separate eggs, saving the whites for topping
Add the egg yolks (beaten) and remaining milk, vanilla, butter and salt
Cook in double boiler until thick. (Consistency is a little thicker than pudding.) Pour the cooked filling into cooked pie crust
Beat reserved egg whites, beating in 8 to 9 tablespoons sugar gradually while beating the whites
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and continue beating until stiff
Spread over filling and brown in oven.
